Using BibleGateway dot com

I see a lot of text on the internet like this, showing the letters to BibleGateway’s footnotes.

Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, [a]Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, [b]paralyzed, [c]waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.
John 5:2-4 NKJV

This lets me know many people probably don’t know the footnotes can be turned on and off. Click the Gear icon in the toolbar to bring up several selectable options.

Click the Parallel icon next to the Gear icon to view Scriptures in two different translations at the same time.

BibleGateway’s Scripture lookup is powerful. Click on these links to see some of what you can display. Note what is in the search textbox to give the result.

I hope you find this helpful. Blessings!

Are you following God's plan for your life?
   You should.
      Your plan sucks.
      It really, really sucks.

Most people are WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!

Jesus is coming.
Are you ready to meet Him?
Give your life to Jesus Christ.
   Time is running out.
