I believe God uses a three-step process to give His children the desires of their hearts.
- God burns things contrary to His will out of our hearts and puts good desires in our hearts.
- God helps bring these good desires to manifest in our lives.
- Return to step 1. 😉
Refining The Heart
Bad things removed.
9 “The heart is deceitful above all things,
And desperately wicked;
Who can know it?
10 I, the Lord, search the heart,
I test the mind,
Even to give every man according to his ways,
According to the fruit of his doings.”

The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold,
But the Lord tests the hearts.
