I really like Jesus’ last conversation with the disciples before His arrest, recorded in John 14-16. In Jesus’ first mention of the Holy Spirit He seems to establish both a difference and equivalence of Himself and the Holy Spirit: “I will come to you.”
15 “If you love Me,keep My commandments.16 And I will pray the Father, andHe will give you anotherHelper, that He may abide with you forever—17the Spirit of truth,whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with youand will be in you.18 I will not leave you orphans;I will come to you.” John 14:15-18 NKJV
The Holy Spirit is our teacher.

The Holy Spirit testifies of Jesus.

I don’t really understand how that Jesus and the Holy Spirit can’t be on the earth at the same time, but Jesus said it.

Since there are no references in Acts of the early church baptizing in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19 might have words that Jesus did not say.

32 “Now learnthis parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.33 So you also, when you see all these things, knowthatit is near—at the doors!34 Assuredly, I say to you,this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” Matthew 24:32-35 NKJV
34 “Buttake heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down withcarousing, drunkenness, andcares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, andpray always that you maybe countedworthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, andto stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:34-36 NKJV
