So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!

Sometimes I hear people on YouTube say we should “do good just because it’s the right thing to do.” I have been a Christian a long time, but I doubt I’ll be that mature this side of eternity. I’m always thinking about the consequences. Reaping follows sowing, and I prefer rewards to punishment.
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

The Father rewards those who earnestly and diligently seek Him!
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Moses was reward-minded.

The reward of future joy got Jesus through the crucification.

By storing up treasures – rewards – in heaven, you are setting your heart in heaven!
19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

It looks like every good action is rewarded!

And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. 42 And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”

It will make the Father happy when He gives us the kingdom!
