If you are paying attention to non-mainstream news you’re aware the world is close to nuclear war. We shouldn’t be surprised because Jesus warned us.

The good news is that someday relatively soon war is going away forever.

It is important to know what the whole Bible has to say on a subject. For example, in at least three places the Bible does say “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”
And it shall come to pass Thatwhoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls. Joel 2:32 NKJV
“‘And it shall come to pass Thatwhoever calls on the name of theLord Shall be saved.‘” Acts 2:21 NKJV
For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” Romans 10:13 NKJV
However, other Scriptures make it clear that “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved” is not an unlimited promise.
40 You have also given me the necks of my enemies, So that I destroyed those who hated me. 41 They cried out, but there was none to save; Even to the Lord, but He did not answer them. 42 Then I beat them as fine as the dust before the wind; I cast them out like dirt in the streets. Psalm 18:40-42 NKJV
For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him. Psalm 32:6 NKJV
Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Isaiah 55:6 NKJV
11 Therefore thus says the Lord: “Behold, I will surely bring calamity on them which they will not be able to escape; and though they cry out to Me, I will not listen to them. 12 Then the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem will go and cry out to the gods to whom they offer incense, but they will not save them at all in the time of their trouble. 13 For according to the number of your cities were your gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem you have set up altars to that shameful thing, altars to burn incense to Baal.
14 “So do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer for them; for I will not hear them in the time that they cry out to Me because of their trouble.” Jeremiah 11:11-14 NKJV

Without these clarifying Scriptures one could come up with bad doctrine, such as people being able to be saved by crying out to the Lord from hell. This is clearly not the case!
27 And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. Hebrews 9:27-28 ESV
19 “There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day.20 And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores,21 who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man’s table. IMO there is nothing wrong with the part of Psalms 91 the devil quoted to Jesus, but Jesus essentially replied that there was a more appropriate Scripture for the situation.
5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and set him on the pinnacle of the temple6 and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written,
“‘He will command his angels concerning you,’
and
“‘On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.’”

God allows difficulties, tests, trials, and afflictions to find out if we will obey Him.
Now these are the nations which the Lord left, that He might test Israel by them,that is, all who had not known any of the wars in Canaan 2 (this was only so that the generations of the children of Israel might be taught to know war, at least those who had not formerly known it), 3 namely, five lords of the Philistines, all the Canaanites, the Sidonians, and the Hivites who dwelt in Mount Lebanon, from Mount Baal Hermon to the entrance of Hamath. 4 And they were left, that He might test Israel by them, to know whether they would obey the commandments of the Lord, which He had commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses. Israel as a whole failed.

For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us! Romans 8:18 AMP
