The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life,
And he who wins souls is wise.

Always be prepared to give a defense to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you.

You can easily share the good news of Jesus using The ABC’s of Salvation.

I recommend every saved person be familiar with these salvation Scriptures, and be able to find them in any Bible. You never know when you may be asked to give reason for your hope, and it is good to be prepared. 😊

Prayer is a Weapon Against Fleshly Temptation

“Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.“
Mark 14:38 ESV

The highlighted parts of Mark 14:38 above stood out in my Bible reading yesterday. Prayer is a weapon against my weak flesh. Related Scripture came to mind.

Prayer is a way to invite God’s power for my weaknesses.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV

Prayer has divine power, power to make every thought obey Christ.

³ For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. ⁴ For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. ⁵ We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,

Prayer is powerful.
