Hebrews chapters 3 and 4 link unbelief and disobedience.
3:16 For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses? 17 Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
4:6 Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience,

This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it. 2 John 1:6 NKJV

How we walk matters!
3 And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him,5 but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him:6 whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked. 1 John 2:3-6 ESV
Whoever walks in uprightness fears the Lord, but he who is devious in his ways despises him. Proverbs 14:2 ESV

Do you have to be eager for the rapture to go in the rapture? My mind is not completely made up so I’m just going to discuss Scripture.
Two well-known rapture Scriptures indicate all living believers are raptured.
16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 ESV
51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.53 For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 ESV
However, consider that only one of the seven churches in Revelation 2-3 is promised to be kept from the hour of trial coming on the whole earth.
“‘Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.'” Revelation 3:10 ESV
Also, Paul writes that believers in Jesus are not supposed to be surprised.
Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you.2 For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.3 While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.4 But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-4 ESV
But Jesus mentions the possibility of being surprised, and states the requirement to watch and pray to escape all.

There are also these Eager Scriptures.
27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. Hebrews 9:27-28 NKJV
And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. Romans 8:23 ESV
Now you have every spiritual gift you need as you eagerly wait for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:7 NLT
For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness. Galatians 5:5 ESV
Do you have to be eager for the rapture to go in the rapture? I’m not sure, but I’m choosing to eagerly watch and pray! As almost a bonus eagerly watching and praying purifies me!
2 Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.3 And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure. 1 John 3:2-3 ESV

For about three weeks I have had many memories of passed family members come to mind. Grandma when she could still climb steps and drive. The punchline to dad’s octopus joke. Mom’s smile & laugh. And many, many other memories.
It’s going to be great to be with these people again. And we will all have perfect, glorified bodies, not worn-out earthly tents. It’s going to be an incredible reunion! Hallelujah!
