Beam Me Up, Jesus!

I got on Facebook, saw a bunch of posts that made me very, very sad, and got out. I was reminded of this verse.

And the Lord said to him, “Pass through the city, through Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations that are committed in it.”
Ezekiel 9:4 ESV

Here are screenshots of some of the posts that made me want to weep.

Have you any doubt of the truth of this Scripture?

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
2 Timothy 3:1-5 NKJV

God’s wrath will be severe!

Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain.
Revelation 16:10 NKJV

Belong to Jesus to escape the coming judgement!

34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.
Luke 21:34-36 NKJV

Has the rapture happened?
You can still be saved and go to heaven!

    1. Aye, this is all per His plan.

Romans 1:18-23 New King James Version (NKJV)

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

  1. My heart is breaking! Such sadness, evil and hatred. Even though I know Jesus’ return will be when the world is at it’s worst and most depraved, I can’t believe, or take in, all this inhumane goings-on. All I want to do is rescue them all, but that is unrealistic and impossible. But nothing is impossible for the Lord, so I pray for what we can’t do.

Our leaders are heartless and emotionless. No compassion. Taking from the poor to make the rich richer. Gutless thieves. Letting people die simply because they are poor. Dividing us into groups and designating a label for us, and a specific treatment to keep us all separate from each other. Generating prejudice towards people based on discriminative reasons which they disguise as the right thing to do.

I live in Australia and it’s no different here. Our leaders are greedy and can’t even keep a Prime Minister for a whole term these days! Just voted today for who will run this country next. My untrusting mind is wondering how long the next PM will last! 12 months? We’ll see.

    Come, Lord Jesus, Come!!

    1. Your comment brings many Bible verses to my mind, which means you must have spent considerable time in His Word so that His thoughts have become your thoughts. Here are just two. Blessings, and see you soon!

      Blessed are those who mourn,
      For they shall be comforted.
      Matthew 5:4 NKJV

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
      For they shall be filled.
      Matthew 5:6 NKJV
